Regional Powers Accuse Israel of Gaza Ceasefire Violations

Eight Arab and Muslim nations have jointly condemned Israeli military operations in Gaza, asserting violations of a U.S.-brokered ceasefire agreement.

A coalition of eight Arab and Muslim nations—including Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Egypt, Jordan, Turkey, Pakistan, and Indonesia—has issued a joint statement accusing Israel of systematically violating the Gaza ceasefire accord. According to regional authorities, Israeli military operations have continued unabated for more than nine months following the October implementation of the U.S.-mediated agreement, contradicting commitments made under the truce framework.

The regional governments specifically cited attacks on civilian populations, healthcare infrastructure, and essential services as violations of ceasefire terms. Gaza health authorities report that over 1,200 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli operations since the ceasefire took effect, underscoring the scale of continued conflict despite the formal agreement.

The renewed diplomatic pressure from a broad coalition of regional and international actors reflects intensifying calls for enforcement of the ceasefire framework and raises questions about the viability and commitment of all parties to maintaining the agreement.
