According to TASS news agency, Russian state nuclear corporation Rosatom is scaling up operations at Iran's Bushehr nuclear facility, with plans to grow its on-site Russian workforce from approximately 25 personnel to roughly 100 by autumn. The expansion comes as construction progresses on two additional reactors at the complex, marking a significant commitment to the joint nuclear project despite geopolitical tensions in the region.
Rosatom Chief Alexey Likhachev confirmed that five engineering and technical specialists have recently arrived at the Bushehr site, with additional personnel expected to join over the coming weeks.
