Italian Uranium Firm Eyes London IPO on Nuclear Growth

Reveille Resources plans a London listing to develop historic uranium deposits in Italy amid Europe's nuclear energy resurgence.

Reveille Resources is positioning itself to capitalize on Europe's renewed interest in nuclear power, with plans to list on London's Aquis exchange as it pursues uranium mining operations in northern Italy. According to OilPrice, the company, led by Ippolito Ingo Cattaneo and his father Andrea Cattaneo, is preparing for a public debut on the small-cap exchange imminently. The listing comes as policymakers across the continent increasingly view nuclear energy as central to meeting decarbonization targets.

The firm's initial development focus centers on two historical uranium deposits located in Lombardy—the Novazza and Val Vedello projects—for which regulatory applications were filed last year. These sites represent a significant resource opportunity as European nations seek to expand domestic uranium production capacity to reduce reliance on geopolitical supply chains. The projects remain in the early regulatory phase as the company works toward permitting.

Europe's shifting energy landscape, driven by climate commitments and geopolitical tensions affecting fossil fuel supplies, has reignited interest in nuclear expansion across the continent. Mining ventures targeting uranium deposits are emerging as strategic assets in this transition, with established mining regions competing alongside newer entrants like Italy to establish production capabilities.
